With a 0-21-40 spec the numbers are misleading. While immolate and corruption may seem to do more damage per cast time, that is not taking into account improved shadowbolt. The job of destruction locks in the raid is to keep Improved Shadowbolt on as close to 100% as possible. Improved Shadowbolt helps any lock not using fire (which you shouldn't because shadow is better), helps shadow priests, and in turn helps healers and any other mana users through the shadow priests' abilities.

While it may seem like a loss to personal DPS, the best thing you can do for your raid is cast as many shadowbolts as possible. Your immolate and corruption damage is relatively small when compared to the raid-wide effects of Improved Shadowbolt.
