I hardly ever made anything from the herbs I collected, but I do a lot of transmuting (now transmute master), and that in itself can make decent money, especially if you get rep with Sporeggar to buy the transmute primal earth to water (transmute 4g to 20g, in other words!).

I dropped herb for tailoring, and have my first piece of FSW, but you need untold amounts of netherweave, and mageweave isnt cheap either (if you go down the buying route).

As to how it complements your talents, I have no idea - a look at my talents and gear will probably tell you that!
