Re: Question about Professions.

He/she meant that having FSW (Tailoring set) makes you pass on Oblivion (D3 set) for example. If that's a good or a bad thing... decide...

Seriously: If you are doing PvE raid Frozen Shadoweave + Spellstrike Set Bonus (only for tailors) is worth alone the hassle. I don't see any point dropping it even when I won't wear it anymore. I wouldn't be too annoyed if there would something similar with Wrath of the Lich King again... And passing that - NO!

Back in the day when I had my FSW quite early (not a the hardcore players, but in our guild) the damage was insane compared to classes without access to easy epics. Mages and Priests also have their sets indeed.

BTW: I also think that Enchanting is great for max dps (+12 damage on each ring only for enchanters). Somewhere here someone said that Tailoring/Enchanting is THE way to go. I totally agree with that if someone aims for raiding or instance runs.

For money grinding purposes: I must admit that the easiest way to make money is: Finish all quests (I mean ALL). Then do all 10 dailies all day, grind primals, repeat. You can fish or farm other stuff but seriously, there's little point imho, the market is pretty simple on my server at least.
