I'm willing to put good money on the fact that you know an Elixir-specced Alchemist, so if your herbs are for personal comsumption (

) then drop Alchemy for Tailoring and you'll still have the option to get pots made for raids, while being able to sell herbs on the AH.
If not, dropping Herbalism for tailoring is a grind but still viable. Ok, you have to buy herbs (or get an alt Herbalist?) from the AH but the point to bear in mind is that I spent a lot of money on recipes for my Alchemist and it would be far more expenisve to try to re-level that once dropped, than to re-level a gathering profession.
In either case, tailoring really is so very hard to beat for a Raiding Warlock that I actually dropped mining for it, and levelled a toon to gather ores.
A bit extreme, but its one solution.
