The issue is that you are still leveling and have not aquired decent gear yet. It is that simple. Here are the guidelines I usually tell people when that ask about what spec is best.

Spell Damage Bonus over 700 (ish) is best for Affliction.
Spell Damage Bonus under 700 (ish) is best for Demonology.
Spell Damage Bonus over 1200 (ish) is best for Destruction.

This is in general terms and based on new warlocks leveling. Many of us who were lv 60 when The Burning Crusade released have a completely different outlook on spec due to our gear starting off. I dont think I replaces any of my old world epics until lv 65ish and started Outlands at lv 60 with well over 700 spell damage.

The basic rule of Affliction you are striving for is Insta-Corr + Siphion + Curse of Agony = Dead Mob. The only way this is going to happen is with a high spell damage bonus.
