Re: The guide to raiding spell rotation and raiding stats.
Curse duty in the raids is something a lot of locks like to disregards of come up with "oh i've been doing CoS and i'm still in top 5 if i was doing DPS curse i'll be number 1".
Valid and understandable concern.
However, in 25 men raids, having 3 locks (seldom any raid will have more than that) each of you will end up doing different curse duties. There are 3 curses to cover and ensure: CoS, CoE and CoRecklessness. Yes the latter is very valuable addition for the melee / physical based dps classes. On some bosses, for example the council in the BT you will have to maintain CoTongues up as well.
Basically the bottom line of this is on the fact that:
If you get to use a DPS curse in the raid (Curse of Agony / CoD) consider yourself privileged. Normally your job is to aid your raid's total DPS by doing CoS/ CoE / CoR. Most of the locks in the end game raid content talk about their DPS without factoring in Curse of Agony/CoD.
(the reason being: getting to end game = progression and fast = you will do whatever you have to do to aid your raid = you will do curse duties forever)
