I'm a pretty understanding type of guy. I can totally see how things may not be very clear for people that are new to the forum, but that is why there are stickies and notes all over the place saying, hey this is how you do it. It's hard to feel bad for someone that doesn't follow through and read up those notices that say, "read me first." I'm certain they wouldn't say "read me first" if it wasn't important to do so.
However, a lot of people seem to treat Infractions like they're some huge negative thing used against them. That just isn't so. As you can see from Akasha's post, sometimes an infraction is really just a notice to tell you what was wrong and what needed to be done to correct it. No points were charged the offending account, no bans or anything like that, just the thread was moved and here is why. I don't see anything wrong with that, in fact that seems like a rather nice way of handling it.
I really just don't see what is so difficult about reading directions and using the forum as intended. I especially don't understand blowing up over an infraction that doesn't do anything negative towards you.
