Ah, if only it wasn't soulbound.

One of my favorite things to do on my druid in BG's is hibernate enemy druids in animal form. They can shift out, but they're still dozing.

(And you'd be amazed by the number of people who either don't view the enemy's castbar or don't think to shift before the spell finishes casting.)
