Re: Will we still be the TRUE masters of evil?

Anti magic shield only absorbs so much damage while in it, does not stop fear that I know of, so we just fear them out, its stationary. They also cant eat dots, their Diseases remove heal over time effects *npc in the starting area fights a druid to explain it* and their resistances are just like pallies and I have no problems with pallies usually on my lock, its a aura. And I dont remember seeing a a Silence.

There is an interrupt, there's a trinket (yes yes, we all get those) and if you read what I wrote...I was talking about locks eating MY DoTs (some of which are shadow so yes, Shadow Ward...some aren't however) and their resistances aren't like Paladins. Yep, the Anti Magic Shell is stationary - thats correct.
I'm just on a colossal anti lock trip aren't I? Or are people taking this thread entirely TOO serioulsy?
Its a game, there's a class I'm excited about playing and I will enter into good-spirited bickering with anyone because thats the nature of Wow....if people think that I'm serious then really guys, calm down.
Couple of interesting abilities come to mind for fighting Warlocks but I'll admit, having such high natural stamina, as well as soul link, and CC will make them rather hard to beat.
Spell Deflection - Wowhead Search
Mind Freeze - Spell - World of Warcraft
Acclimation - Wowhead Search
Icy Touch also reduces cast speed, and Death Grip is another ability which is multi-purpose. As you can't cast certain spells while moving then you can use it as another interrupt.
Which of course makes sense as DK's are (or were at least) touted as the anti-magic tanks.

Club Baby Seal is a new level 80 lock ability. It is trainer learned along with Summon Baby Seal.

I think (and I can't remember where I saw it) there's an achievement for killing 1 million of a certain type of mob. It may have been a deliberate blooper, but I'm sure someone confirmed it...thats right up there with baby seals!!

The actions that someone takes while being that class may or may not be evil. Now, having said that, I also remember reading in some DnD book (yes yes, hit me with the geek bat) that there are some spells that are, by their nature, just plain evil because they can serve no purpose that isn't evil. I don't think that's necessarily the case with Death Knights.

Thats the really interesting point for me. I could have a whole thread just on that discussion and never let it touch Wow other than tangentially.
If people will forgive some off-topic meandering does anyone else who played AD&D remember a couple of hardcover books that were released in 2002? I'm talking about the Book of Vile Darkness - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia and the Book of Exalted Deeds - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.
There are also a couple of other supplements that I could mention such as Wraith: Charnell Houses of Europe and any of the Black Dog games stupio's work with White Wolf BUT it would be a major topic derailment if I went further offtopic. I'm loath to start a discussion on it (and therefore won't be doing so) because its a very sensitive subject for some people - suffice to say the hero/antihero and good/evil discussions have taken up some very interesting RPG sessions in the past.
