Alot of people thinks it helps vs stealthers, but there is a big difference between stealth and invisibility.
I do however buff alot of the time, undending breath and detect invis, to prevent my buffs (such as PW:Fortitude and BoK) from being dispelled / making them take longer to get dispelled
