The recent strat that has developed for Warlock/Healer against Priest/Rogue is
- Full DoTs on the Rogue
- Felhunter on the Rogue with auto-Devour on (or off if you can remember to hit Devour every 8 seconds... I can't)
- CoX on the Priest and NO DOTS
- When all DoTs are up on the Rogue, Fear the Rogue (fake-cast to bait a Kick, etc). The main purpose of this is to make him blow cooldowns like CloS to stay on you
With the Felhunter Devouring PWS, ProM, and Renew, the Priest will be forced to hard-cast heals. This is amazing because
- the Priest isn't Mana Burning your partner
- the Priest isn't dispelling you (more an issue for Warlock/Druid)
- the Priest can be Spell Locked if the Rogue is low
Additionally, having the pet on the Rogue rather than the Priest means your pet never gets feared so you can devour fear if your partner gets hit. If you hit a Spell Lock on a heal when the Rogue is low, have your partner throw some quick damage into the Rogue with you and drop him.
The change to Fel Armor ended up being pretty huge for this matchup, as an extra 20% healing on the Warlock is very significant.
