I actually just hit 80 today, and will probably be checking back here for at least the next few days myself, so please do ask us any and all [... useful] questions you might have.
Highest DPS grossing specs is a little up in the air since we don't have a complete picture of what gear there will be to complement those specs, but I do have my own intuitive/educated guesses what they might be anyway.
