My old guild merged with another w/ the promisses of both guilds working towards raiding and helping the lowbies to level as quickly as possible.. Within 9 months of the merger we went from having over 300+ down to under 200. From what I seen it all happened cause the old guild had more levelers in it than raiders... The old guild GM had selfish reservations with a few select friends in the guild and figured a merge with the other guild would ge them the raiding partners they wanted and keep thier leveler toons at the same time... Hope I just made sense.. but it all boiled down to selfishness that ruid 2 guilds.
