Re: Seeking general tactics to grind high level instances with a Warlock

I've found Siphon Life to be the best talent for doing this, and SL/SL the best spec to use when solo'ing strat and scholo. Use a voidwalker. If you have 2pc t5 bonus, you have more flexibility with pets, and might be able to go felguard, idk. SL is the most important talent for this IMO. 2pc t6 helps you heal yourself as well.

Destruction is crap for this: destro strat is to gather mobs with void then spam seed and shadowfury, but theres so many downsides. You're capped at how many mobs you can gather up because the voidwalker takes too much punishment, and every pull requires 30 seconds of downtime for mana. Also, suffering is on a two minute CD, which also slows you down. If your void dies alot, you spend lots of shards resummoning which cannot be farmed easily in these instances. If you mismanage and get an add on you instead of void, the pull has already gone sour and you should run out or you'll die.

Ultimately, if you want to chain pull, your gear will have to support it. You need your 3 instant dots to kill every single mob by themselves, hopefully by the time curse of agony has run its duration. If there are healers, or magic immune mobs, this will make it difficult if not impossible to chain pull.
