A common one I'm seeing is recasting Corruption. The best method seems to be a multi-tiered rotation.
Opener - Pet attack, CoE (Or Doom), Corruption
Main Rotation - Shadow Bolt, Haunt, Unstable Affliction, Shadow Bolt Filler, Life Tap (or Dark Pact)
You can season to taste...Some locks add Siphon Life, but this seems to lower my DPS in my gear.
If another lock has CoE, I'll replace that with Doom. I know Agony scales better, but Doom simplifies the rotation considerably.
Your corruption is constantly being reset by Haunt, so you should only ever have to cast it once.
Ensure you have a Glyph of Corruption for a stacking extra nightfall proc, and Glyph of Shadow Bolt to reduce your mana consumption.
Ideally, your DoT timers should show your haunt refreshing immediately. I open with SB and Haunt to ensure I have two stacks of Shadow Embrace up before my DoTs hit.

The problem I am having at the moment is getting the full duration of my dots. On regular mobs, they are dying way faster after the patch considering I broke a 1000sp unbuffed. With fel armor, I am at 1115sp I think. Even in a regular Mana Tombs run helping a lower level guildie, trash was dying faster. Only thing, I have not notice Haunt refreshing my Corruption. I will have to pay attention to that tonight.
Thanks for the advice.
