I use the same exact rotation as him, and have been for a while, though i've been slipping Corruption in after Haunt and if i'm doing CoE because of no boomkin I apply it first..
so my rotation, though mostly the same is Curse of Elements(if no Boomkin) Shadowbolt > Haunt > Corruption > UA > Immolate > Curse of Agony (If there's a boomkin) > SiLi
I'm not the best geared, i'm decent, but my max DPS is 2100, and surprisingly that was in ZA, not even a 25 man. I'm consistently top 5 on the charts, and my entire raid DPS is usually 1300-1400. Boss fights I push upwards of 1900 DPS usually.
Great guide! This will definitely help out the other warlocks wanting to try affliction(like a few in my guild).. I have one question though, you obviously use your Fel Hound, do you try to micro manage when your fel hound does Shadow Bite? If he stays alive throughout the encounter(kinda hard on Archimonde and Illidan for example) he does a decent amount of damage.

Understand what you're saying about the ticking time of UA and Immolate but I was refering to the most DPS.
Think of it this way: you cast Haunt now any DOTS you cast after get the synergy effect, however you have wasted 1 1 1/2 seconds that you could be damaging your opponent casting Immolate.
If you cast Haunt and them immediately cast DOTS those DOTS are ticking while you cast Immolate. The other way there are no DOTS up to work with Haunt until AFTER you cast Immolate. So just pure math your DPS is going to be higher casting the DOTS first (as they get another 1- 1 1/2 seconds to tick) before casting Immolate.
