As I understand Haunt, it puts a 12 sec debuff on the mob that makes your DoTs tick at +20% damage. Why cast it after your dots? You're missing the 20% premium on the DoTs you cast before. Not only that, but you're missing the shadow embrace stack too.
CoE > SB > Haunt > then DoTs

I don't find the rotation so bad... It does require a lot more work than SB spam, but once you get the order down, it's not too hard. I'm sure I do a lot of clipping and my uptime isn't what it should be, but that comes with practice.
I find that CoE > SB > Haunt > UA > Immo > Corr > SL is manageable. Corruption refreshes itself and UA & Immo act as one dot since they're same length cast. As long as you have the luxury of standing in one place, there's no problem. Anytime you have to move, it's a pain.
