The only things that would change for any demon or destro build is that you'd get the Chaotic Skyflare Diamond for meta and put Purified Twilight Opals (9sp/8spirit) in the blue sockets on neck and cloak. Rest of the sockets are filled with Runed Scarlet Rubies, just like for affliction. The only exception to this would be if you have a yellow socket with a very good socket bonus (like +8 haste on T7.5 helm) in which case you'd use a Reckless Monarch Topaz (9sp/8haste). All this assuming you don't depend on gems to be hit capped.
The reason the list stays the same is that there are a limited ammount of ilvl 226 items to choose from and these tend to be best in slot for all specs (exception being the robe from 25maly which has mp5 on it) The next task is to figure out what item to leave out to get the 2p bonus; and the T7.5 shoulders combined with 10man maly robe is a better combo than t7.5 robe and maly25 shoulders (25maly pants are just too good to give up), so to keep the 2p bonus the 25maly shoulders are left out.
