And you obviously cannot rely on CoE for spell pen to combat MotW. If someone has MotW then there must be a druid on their team, and druids will just remove the curse. It does work just fine against priest teams, however. Then again, I like having more options with my curses, like CoEx, CoW or CoT, aside from the obvious Curse of Agony.
Sadly everyone here seems to be right. Enchant your cloak and load up with spell pen gems to reach your goal. How much you gem for is up to you since you will be sacrificing other stats like resil, spell power, and/or stamina.
