That's why you don't imm before you get a DC or shadowfury stun out. Shadowfury - fear - then imm, conflag, etc. If he trinkets before you get fear off, then DC him. He will have used trinket. If he iceblocks, just wait til he's done, redo your curses, shadowfury will be up shortly.
