Even though im not at the best i have some tips to share and I have experience at the higher brackets 2100+ on my shaman. In 2v2 with a healer affliction is the best, it is very hard for a healer to overcome the constant pressure that comes from an affliction warlock dotting all his targets. But in any bracket besides 2v2, i recomend destro, it is a learning experience but 3v3 tends to be the most balanced arena bracket. True rogues and warriors and paladins will rape you all over but get used to dueling in the dalaran sewers as destro, You learn to develop great control as a warlock and is the key to suceeding in arena. I prefer a succubus/destro build considering the utility that i derive from having a cc off the gcd and work when im stunned. Keep with it and you will find that arena is a rewarding experience and requires a signifigant amount of time to master.
The most important part is that you duel as often as possible. Even with my un-enchanted and unsocketed poor pvp peices, i often find myself coming close to winning against the best ret pally on my server and have a very strong win ratio against warriors who don't l2spell reflect. Rogues are a tough one but the better they are, the harder you fall.
