far as being targeted first goes, if it's a DPS/healer team and you don't have a healer if your own... I would get a fear off on the DPS as soon as possible and try to dot 'em both up... you have to have to HAVE to use any CC ability you have as often as possible - fear, deathcoil, HoT, seduction, shawdowfury - whatever - in order to survive. I have about 800 resil, and there are only a couple classes I feel I have problems with: mages if I'm not thinking on my feet and CCing them ASAP, warriors only occasionally, and ret pallies during their bubble phase (sometimes you can get a dumb one and nuke him beofre it's up!).
