To respond to a few of the posts;

1) The Succubus seems to be getting less play now that you can no longer talent for an instant Seduce. Granted, half a second cast when talented doesn't seem like much, but it's now something you can pillar hump away from. She still works, but it's tougher now.

2) As for finding the right partner, I'm convinced that that's the bigger battle than the matches themselves! The first thing that I would recommend is to take a step back and decide how you want to play in the arena. Do you want to just run your 10 matches a week? Do you want to run more than that, but on a "pick up" casual level throughout the week? Or do you want to run 3 hours four nights a week on a strict schedule? Once you've got an idea of what you're interested in doing, then you can go out in search of a partner that has the same perspective. I'd start with your guild members since you're in a PvP guild. Decide whether or not you want to run Affliction or Destruction, and then see who might be a good match for a partner. Take a look at their Armory page and see if they're already on a 2v2 team that they won't likely want to drop. Then ask them individually instead of just a /g spam. Looking for a partner on your realm's forum, or in trade chat is a mixed bag. For every nice and reasonable person who might respond to you, there's about ten other jerks who will be abusive and/or waste your time. I'm not saying don't go that route, I'm just saying be prepared for that kind of thing.

For example, this season I've decided to not try to run a competitive comp, but instead just do occasional pick up matches with friends. The comps aren't ideal, and some of my friends aren't running great gear, but now that I have a three month old baby boy, I don't really have time to grind out rank anymore. So on the rare occasions I log on, I just want to goof around with buddies. Anyhoo, I hope this helps!
