there are tons of ways to get gear... first off for warlocks a tailor can make you the frostsavage set. it is a pvp set with resilience. no honor needed. once you have that. to get honor points do all the BG's that are available. then you can turn in one of each battleground marks for 1200 honor. you get one mark for doing the BG, then if you win the BG you get 3.
if you do wintergrasp you get honor for killing players, but you also get wintergrasp marks of honor that can be used as currency for gear and trinkets. check out the PVP gear guides under the PVP section of the forum for full info on gear. if you want to start PVP get the Frostsavage set first. then work your way into the hateful set and deadly set. which costs honor points. but they are actually pretty easy to get now.
i have not done the argent tournament or arena yet. i am waiting to get better skills and better gear before i go jumping into arena. as for weapons though. you pretty much have to use PVE weapons for PVP. and the Iron Bound Tome is good for off hand. a scribe can make this with minimal mats. the hardest mad to get is a frozen orb.
