well look at his spec:
soul link 20% reduced damage
molten skin 6% reduced damage
nether protection
demonic brutality: voidwalker shield is 20% stronger.
add some resilience to that and a healer and you have some invincible warlock.
His statement about his spec giving him the equivalent of 1000 resilience is true, but not in the way you think.
If you compare a pvp geared lock, without soul link and molten skin and with 1000 resi, with this spec and 0 resi, this spec would always win, since 26% damage reduction is much much better than 1000 resi. That's what he prolly meant.
PS. Try adding soul link glyph to that spec, and changing it a bit so you can get master demonologist, and get 10% more physical damage reduction from having the void out.
Get some pvp gear, and laugh at rogues trying to kill you
