Every pug that I've ever been in where IDS drops, there's always someone who wants to bid for the winners roll (me included). Why shouldn't the winner be able to sell their winning roll to someone who wants it more and has the gold?

As always there will be something good, something bad.
Good - you can convince someone to give you shiny epic. (with gold, cry, etc.)
Bad - people (especially in pugs) may roll on item only to sell it or to give it to friend.
