Re: Help With Mob Management w/Destro
Hi guys, hopefully you can help as I have looked at this thread and set up some macros to assist with my lock (Destro build)
Going into a normal mob fight where a fear target has been set up, I set that fear target as focus.
I then throw a fear with the following macro (based upon what I read above)
/target focus
/petpassive
/cast fear
/targetlasttarget
Question 1: Should I first throw a spell on the skull before casting this for the targetlastarget to work or if I do a normal flip over is that not necessary?
I have set up the exact same for banish spells
I then go to straight stand up and burn on the normal targets, throwing in the fear/banish when necessary
For the standard nuke spells I have set up macros as follows:
/cast XXXX
/petdefensive (this is to get the lazy thing back to work)
/pettarget=playertarget (so he does not go for the feared target)
/cast [@pettarget] firebolt
I then work on standard rotations
I have also set up a Bane of Havoc macro also based upon what I have read in this thread so far
/targetenemy
/cast bane of havoc
/targetlasttarget
Question 2: Should I be selecting a mob (not feared one or skulled on) then throw this macro or just hit the macro and it will automatically select one (i.e. not sure what the /targetenemy instruction does)?
I have also set up macros for when I use AoE, mainly to get the pet to work in case I have thrown a fear and he is still on passive and I am going to AoE instead of 1 man burn
/cast XXX (AoE spell)
/petdefensive
/cast [@pettarget] firebolt
Further questions
3: Are the above macros right?
4: I have been in a couple of fights where I have been requested to use felpuppy, mostly for interrupt use. Would using my macros as above cause the felpuppy not to work appropriately (i.e. the instruction to cast firebolt), should I be adjusting them to allow for felpuppy usage, and if so how?
As I have been destro for some time and I never really used felpuppy a really stupid question - does the felpuppy automatically interrupt or do I need to do something to make him interrupt
Sorry for the daft questions, but I would rather come across daft here than in a dungeon
