'Explanation' in OP looks like some broken variation of owlkinsÄ eclipse if I read it correctly. In SE there's a saying 'Don't fix it, if it ain't broken' so what are they trying to fix with WL's mana? Who's mana regen infight is next to get 'fixed'? Owlkin? SPriest?
---As long as the warlock never lets her mana bar fill up and burn her embers, she's maximizing damage. This is very different from the standard caster model where priority is placed on casting at all times and ordering spells based on cooldown.
Basically if you are claimed to be afk in raid, you can answer 'I am just maximising damage'? - Sound too cool to be true^^
