Small Soul Shard Bag Update
I picked up an Onyxia Hide Backpack last week. Let me tell you, an 18-slot backpack is nice to have. Coupled with my 2 16-slot Traveler's Backpacks, a 14-slot Runecloth Bag, which I hope to replace with another Traveler's Backpack, and the default 16-slot, it makes for a lot of space for soulshards. The other night I got up to 27 soulshards. It helps alleviate most problems with having enough soulshards in raids, but the problem still exists in battlegrounds/pvp (small-scale, not large scale like Alterac Valley, where I can usually take advantage of hiding behind/near fellow combatants or in general, chaos). After a few runs I'm completely spent.
One thing I did notice is I burned through a lot of soulshards while using demonic sacrifice (even on raids). I have the new Master Demonologist talent, so for damage, I can have the succubus out on normal mobs to keep soulshards, and sacrifice for that extra 15% of shadow damage (compared to MD talent with succubus with is +10% damage).
