Re: Multiple Mobs
If I am going into a fight with 3 mobs in a camp, here is what I do… This tactic is at level 60 fighting mobs in the 50’s.
First, I find the highest-level mob and/or find the caster if there is on in the group. Taking out the caster in my opinion is necessary because he will do the most damage to you in the shortest amount of time and he has the lowest amount of hit points. The same goes for the highest-level mob, he will have more hip points but do more damage to you and your pet. Next, I cast my Immolate spell because for my build, it has a lower casting time on it and I can get it off without worrying about being interrupted. While I am in mid cast, I send in my pet, usually either my VW or Succ and let them get aggro for a few seconds. Next, I use my instant cast Corruption and Agony on the next two mobs, trying to make sure I stack those dots on all three mobs. At this point depending on how far down I am on health I will deathcoil one to get life back and then stack fear on both. That sends them both running, by this time, the first mob should be dead or close to being dead. Just wand him to death. Of the two mobs I feared, one should still be running and the other is on me. At this point, I will fear and drain life trying to keep both mobs feared while my dots kill them and I drain life to keep full health.
I personally don't like using the imp on a multiple pull, the VW works the greatest followed by the Succ because she does nice damage.
This tactic works great for me... give it a try and let me know how it goes... ol
