I think it is a 5% chance to spawn a Doomguard if your Curse of Doom does the killing blow on a mob. I only managed to do that a couple of times soloing and I have yet to see it happen in a raid (lets say it is 1% chance you actually get the killing blow in with your CoD then it is like 1 in 2000 times you get a Doomguard and that is of course only when you really try to have CoD up at the end of the fight).
If/when it spawns you obviously want to Enslave it - not kill it :roll:
