Last night me and my parter decided to hit up some Silithus bugs to clear out out quest logs before BC. We had done a couple of those Field Duty bugs and of course had Hive'Regal (the hardest of all three) as our combat assignments. We had actually come here once before but instead of my Warlock I had brought my Hunter as Mercury always seemed to tank well. We found out pretty quick last time that he didn't, and Fear kiting doesn't go so well for a Hunter that can't damage when out of range.

So last night we decided to try out Shaaroon with the tanking because I had been off tanking in Strat and Scholo the day before and he was fine. Hive'Regal bugs vary between level 59 through to 61 and are all elite... verdict? Shaaroon did a marvelous job!

At level 60 he has around 4.5k hitpoints for me, and with the new changes to his armor etc, sits around 46% physical damage reduction. He pretty much tanked anything I threw at him, and held aggro despite two Warlocks full DoT's (including all my partners Affliction DoTs).

As mentioned above, you are not going to see this at level 49 because the Felguard doesn't have all of his abilities yet, and my gear is so much better than at 49 etc. In regards to making me feel like the disposable pet, I decided to split up my pets damage to mine last night on the damage meter as we were both curious at what exactly he did. Although I expected to see him sitting at around 50% of my damage, he was only at 20% between all four of us. I think in the end I was sitting around 45 is percent, my parter sitting the low 30s, Shaaroon at 20 something and my partners Succubus at 8. (Obviously not exact numbers)
