It's all about Surviving...

So, I did it. I found the end of the conga line heading towards Survival and joined it. I gave my big red kitty (har har) one final hug and then, respecced. And I have to say, AWESOME FUN!! Yes I was one of those Hunters that respecced because my DPS dropped and I didn't like having that many people taking my air supply. But, unlike a lot of Hunters who respecced for one day, hated it and then point every finger they could at Blizzard, I've given it a bit of times, tweaked a bit more and found answers to the things that are different with the build.
The biggest complaint from those switching is your eyeballs dry out watching for your Lock and Load proc. So, I found powerauras (thanks to a post on here no less) and filled by screen with a bright red glow to let me know it was there. Sadly there is no 'extend hand from monitor and slap you' mod. And if there was, I'd use it for bloody Aspect of the Viper. It's just damn embarrassing how often I've had that still up at 100% mana because of watching for Lock and Load. Thankfully, I found a mod for that too.
I respecced the first time on Saturday so I could try Survival for the 10 man Naxx. My first every 10 man Naxx too!

#3 - not bad. Especially since I really, only had limited understanding of my spec and what I was meant to do. Plus trying to manually weave in all new abilities that I've never had before, with the awesome Aussie lag and well, I certainly couldn't claim to be at my peek. But it did give me an awesome chance to really test the build out. I was happy for that, although not totally sold on the build yet.

I spent the majority of Sunday reading up more info and decided to tweak by build a little. I fiddled with a few more things and made my way to a Heroic Nexus last night. To put it blunty, I was SOLD!! Big burst damage, new mods to show me when LnL procs and over all better DPS. If you call #1 better haha. I ran with a Warlock who gave me a really good run for my money and we sat neck and neck for most of the night. Interestingly enough, on the AE fights he over took me according to Recount.

Overall I'm happy I changed, and am happy with the build. Although not really a majorly different play style, after all, it's just shooting arrows, there are some different things to look for. I'm really enjoying the big damage output, like the 3500 crits, or the 10,000+ Kill Shot crits, YUMMO!!
