I managed to unlock the 2nd set of Firelands quests last night.

Think I'll stick with the original ones for the time being. The underground cavern is pretty mobbed on my server.

In other news, my guild, Pandemonium Legion appears to be dead on it's feet.

Guild leader has been absent for the last 12 days.

Maybe it's just the summer thing, but I'm not sure.

Maybe it's time to look for a new guild?

As a relatively casual player these days, the opportunities to get decently geared up used to be fairly limited. Endless instance runs for valour points.

Well, there's still a lot of that required, of course, but some of the rewards once you get the vendors unlocked in the Firelands are pretty nice.

Plus the quests are a bit more fun than, say, the ones for Therazane or Dragonmaw...

That without t12 raid gear or BiS items, I was seeing 20k dps on Rhiadana.

Someone was complaining that they could only see 11k or so.

So, doing the Firelands dailies tonight I get a Fiery Behemoth to myself and my erstwhile cadre of Hyjal Protectors.

I wouldn't call myself especially well equipped or even a greatly skilled player, I think my rotation...

Well, actually, I never really left.

I played my Holy priest for a while, ran out of things to do, tried my druid, then Rift came out.

To give Trion credit,, the game was very good out of the gate. Much smoother than your typical WoW patch day, really.

Their class/talent system is very nice and pretty much avoids the 'cookie-cutter' talent builds that we know and ... well... put up with.

However, once you get to the level cap, guess what? Unless...

So... long weekend... regualr raids starting again.. where were we.. Oh yes, ICC 10.

We have the first wing on farm now so were getting people who just want to come for farm nights and bail the other two. sigh.

Major guild cleaning excercise took place after someone kicked up a stink because a regualr raider rolled on a staff. Hey! If you'd come for progression nights, maybe you'd get better gear!

We're still having problems with Festergut and Rotface. Don't...
