I'm a Hordie, dag nab it!

Tried out the Faction Change service a few days ago because CLEARLY I'm an impulsive spaz who just has to try everything once. :p
Oh sure I'd TOLD myself that I was sick of always playing Horde, sick of the excessive Horde pride versus the more toned-down Alliance, sick of looking at the Blood Elf model constantly...
But despite the truths to those things it is far, far worse to suddenly have my beloved character turned into a dumpy human with a new name! I couldn't stand it! So after a few days I turned her right back into a blood elf and I feel like I'm "home" again.
At least my Alliance alts got some gold and Frostweave bags out of the deal.
Maybe someday I'll make a real live Alliance of my very own, and not the cheating way. ;)
Well now that my curiousity has been sated, at least I know that my warlock is Horde for GOOD this time!

I know what you mean. Three of my bosses at work have Alliance toons on a different realm from me. They want me to do a realm/faction change to be able to play with them.
My Production manager has even offered to pay for it if I do "For the Alliance" once I switch.
I would like to be able to play with them, but I don't want to be Alliance. As silly as it may sound, I LIKE being Horde!! LOLPosted December 31, 2009 at 12:13 PM by Dretar

Nah, that doesn't sound silly! I know some people play both factions, but I just happened to roll Horde and it's all that I'm used to after a year.Quote:I know what you mean. So it's less about disliking Alliance and more about feeling like an alien or an impostor....
Why don't you roll up an alt and try out Alliance from a starting zone?Posted January 02, 2010 at 07:18 PM by Saerlaith

I understand, I went from an undead Warlock to a Bloodelf back to Undead. I wanted the silence racial but it just didn't feel right. So I paid again. But then, they nerfed Will of the Forsaken, and now I wish I would have stayed BE. Oh well.Posted January 07, 2010 at 10:28 PM by Doozer

I am leveling a Pally alt on my "home" realm right now. I am considering a realm/faction change with that toon, or I may just start a Pally alt on their realm.Quote:Nah, that doesn't sound silly! LOK'TAR OGAR!
I've tried to play Alliance, I really have. I just can't seem to get past level 15. Something about working with a gnome instead of eating it just makes me sick
I'm guessing it has to do with the fact that I leveld on a pvp server, before the 2.3 leveling nerf patch as well, so it was a looong, slow process which gave my hatred of Alliance gankers plenty of time to festerPosted January 17, 2010 at 02:20 AM by Gallrock
