The Warlocks Den - WoW Warlock Discussions

It's time for me to move on past the World of Warcraft. I sat down just a little over three years ago and created my warlock with no idea that he'd last this long, let alone that he'd get exalted reputation with 29 factions, be part of a raid that killed Illidan, or spend about 7,500 gold on a fancy ring.


The Warlock's Den has been a big part of what's made the game fun, providing me with up-to-date information on the latest raiding builds and rotations, demented warlock humor,...

I thought about doing the "10 Things You Will/Will Not Miss from The Burning Crusade Now that You are in Northrend" blog, but I realized:

• It's too soon to really know what those are since I've only been in Northrend for a few days
• For the last year of TBC, I was mostly concerned witnTier 5/Tier 6 raiding. For the first several months of WotLK, I'll be busy leveling and gearing my main.

The Burning Crusade, the first WoW expansion, took a day to be released, but several months to hit, at least on the Kul Tiras realm. The breakdown spread from two directions; Blizzard kept making changes to get servers ready, like populating Deadwind Pass with level-70 ghosts who dropped incredible greens we couldn’t equip, and players started changing their ambitions and their behavior in response to all the new goodies that were being promised.
