The Warlocks Den - WoW Warlock Discussions

I finally completed my Loremaster project in December (then they nerfed the requirements!).



I ended up doing a lot of great quests. Northrend has 875 that have to be done for the achievement. The only one I haven't gotten around to yet is the fighter-plane one in Icecrown (buggy when I tried it). Still not sure which is my favorite, but I'm working on criteria for a great quest. Not all quests will...

My character has been questing like crazy for almost 3 years now, and for most of it, I’ve had to accept that unlike most fictional heroes, he cannot change the world. How many of you others have dispatched some nasty mini-boss or thinned the numbers of worgen, helboar, Scourge, etc. only to have them back to full strength and ready to attack you the next time you cut through their zone? Anyone else bring Bolvar Fordragon...

I thought about doing the "10 Things You Will/Will Not Miss from The Burning Crusade Now that You are in Northrend" blog, but I realized:

• It's too soon to really know what those are since I've only been in Northrend for a few days
• For the last year of TBC, I was mostly concerned witnTier 5/Tier 6 raiding. For the first several months of WotLK, I'll be busy leveling and gearing my main.

For your fancy raiding...

I'm a little ambivalent about upcoming changes in the expansion, but overall, it will be fun. As of August, 2008, we also seem to be pretty early in the development curve; warlocks are changing so fast I have no idea what they'll look like at level 80. Driving up to the annual guild party, I listened to about 2 hours of WoW podcasts ranting about the beta, so I feel obliged to jump on the bandwagon.
