A smashing start

Well it took us 2 weeks to put together a solid 25 man team. Recruitment was actually alot easier than I thought it would be.......
Anyway, we started Ulduar 25 on Tuesday and blew through the front half and then hit a speed bump on Hodir and had our MT throw up IRL so he logged and we just called it.
It was unspectacular, but still better than where we all had been before.
We took Wednesday off (as we don't plan on raiding Wednesdays anyway) but picked it back up last night.
We downed Hodir once some of the new peeps realized how the fight worked. Took 3 attempts. There was only a mild sense of dread, though.
So with 24 and 5 healers we went to Thorim.
And 1-shot him! Then did the same to Freya and Mimiron!
It was pretty crazy. The 5 healers we had and the 7 total on our roster are all very, very good.
DPS was above where we came from and even our tanks were impressed.
It was a good raid and we still have some under geared peeps that are only going to get better.
I am optimistic.

think we do mimi with 6 -7 healers by now, but when we learned it we had more like 8 of those ;)
