QQ I miss BC

Not spamming Shadow Bolt.

But having a clear delineation between spell damage and healing.

I miss ignoring spirit.

I miss having tank-level stam.

I miss having amazing synergy across our raid and when forming raids actually having to pay attention to what group I put people in.

I miss every fight not being ridiculous DPS races.

I miss haste only being on the absolute best gear there is.

I miss buffs being unique and debuffs being supplied by Warlocks.

I miss having the option of not having a pet and killing it.

I miss not HAVING to be 11 points deep into demo to just casually do BGs or 15 points deep into destruction to do PVE.

I miss not hating myself for not rolling a Hybrid.

I miss hating myself for pulling 1500 dps with one button. And now hating that Arcane Mages do the exact same thing, but do 8000 dps.

I miss not getting two-shot through full deadly gear in PVP by rogues. Or dying within a cheap shot......without Soul Link.

I miss Priest/Lock (my girlfriend is a Priest) being a decently viable 2's comp.

I miss raids being raids and putting a raid on Heroic Mode doing nothing.

I miss being able to farm amazing gear (Frozen Shadow Weave).

I miss +shadow or +fire gear.

Or school specific flasks and enchants.

Above all else, I miss the developers not insulting the player base.

I don't really miss most of those things.

I don't spam shadow bolt now, at least not the way I had to in classic.

I do sort of miss the damage/healing split, though that's more because I hate the stats they replaced it with.

Ignoring spirit was ok when it was possible, since Blizz decided to put it on everything anyway I'm glad it does something for us.

Tank level stam was nice, but TBH, being able to get enough mana that I don't have to lifetap 20k health away is better.

Group composition was mostly tedious, it made buffing more complex and time consuming than it had to be, and got in the way of actually doing things.

This I agree with you on, but I think that this is more the result of too much haste and stat inflation, see my comment about +damage and + healing.

I miss haste not existing.

Debuffs were never uniquely supplied by warlocks, not even in classic, though we had a few unique ones, we still do. Buffs weren't really ever unique either for the most part(certainly some where, but not most).

I liked DS too, but I'm happier that pets are useful so we don't need it anymore.

None of this is new either, ruin has been necessary for PVE since classic, and it used to be 20 points not 15. SL has been fairly necessary for serious PVP for the same length of time.

I agree on the hybrids, but we've got hope since they're talking about the hybrid tax again in a serious way. The new LFG system should make it easier for us poor pures to have a chance anyway.

Meh.

Rogues have always eaten warlocks. My rogue used to be able to kill warlocks in arena gear when I was wearing scrub greens. The same was true of rogues killing my lock, been that way since classic.

I'll agree with this.

I think they've taken raids a little too far down, but at the same time, more people will see Icecrown than ever saw half the raids in classic or BC, and that's a good thing.

Hated this, if you wanted to switch between destro and affliction or demo you needed a completely different gear set, and destro was constantly gimped by being mage gear with no stam.

To be honest. The player base of WoW is the casuals, it's why this game has 10 million players and every other MMO is lucky to get a couple hundred thousand. Blizzard isn't insulting the player base, you just aren't the player base. Neither am I, that's life, there are plenty of "hard" MMOs out there to play.

	Those good old times /sigh I really miss the high HP and still being able to do something in pvp.

	I miss the fact that the devs actually had more of a clue back then on warlock mechanics. Now just look around and what have they done? They took away our high HP They left demo in utter shambles (meta is a huge joke) They have allowed burst damage to reach lvls that PvP takes absolutely no skill anymore as you just burst each other down and hope you win the DPS race.

	I do miss not being required to pick up a talent for PVP, even casual BG's, as things are with soul link right now.
