Things must be pretty bad for warlocks if even Bigredkitty feels sorry for us! BRK can be funny about everything, but many of the unhappy warlocks and the trolls on the other side (some of whom used to play warlocks) really aren’t as much fun to read.

Who helped them pwn Gruul and Hydross and VR? Who helped them clear KZ repeatedly...

The Burning Crusade, the first WoW expansion, took a day to be released, but several months to hit, at least on the Kul Tiras realm. The breakdown spread from two directions; Blizzard kept making changes to get servers ready, like populating Deadwind Pass with level-70 ghosts who dropped incredible greens we couldn’t equip, and players started changing their ambitions and their behavior in response to all the new goodies that were being promised. The beginning of the end was when guilds stopped...

I'm a little ambivalent about upcoming changes in the expansion, but overall, it will be fun. As of August, 2008, we also seem to be pretty early in the development curve; warlocks are changing so fast I have no idea what they'll look like at level 80. Driving up to the annual guild party, I listened to about 2 hours of WoW podcasts ranting about the beta, so I feel obliged to jump on the bandwagon.
