World of Logs - Real Time Raid Analysis

Can someone be so kind and look at log for a successful onyxia clear in the link above and offer some suggestions as to why a fellow lock (Littlock) is casting twice as many incinerates as me?

He is using the ISL spec with immolate and I am using suppression with life tap (uptime 95%) so that accounts for some of the discrepancy but we have a similar number of backdrafts. He might have a little more haste then me, I believe during in game chat we compared and he had about 50 more points.

Was wondering if this observation is shared by any of you tried and true veteran Locks.

Arcane Mages...

Have you been noting the outward overtly disproportionately callibrated dps Arcane Mages are putting out? When a good Arcane Mage in full conquest can out dps a good Destro Lock in full Triumph245, with equivalent 245 level pieces, then class spec mechanics need a review.

I can understand why Bliz bestowed Mages with some encouraging mechanics relatively recently, but I believe this is alittle over the top.

What happens when a level 226 geared Arcane Mage comes into a raid and starts dwarfing a level 245/258 geared Destro Lock's dps/damage output? It creates a disparaging situation.. especially when unknowing people actually believe its because the Mage is some highly skilled player that makes you look like you're doing something terribly wrong. I'm a qualified and knowledgeable veteran Warlock, and I've got all points covered when it comes to the in's and out's of pve raiding. Been actively doing this for 5 years now.

Hopefully we'll see some change-arounds come next patch, because this just took a turn to ridiculousness. Somethings up or just not right about all this.

Chaos Bolt damange question

Im a very geared warlock I pull about 5k dps and sometimes as much as 6k depending on fight.. I am 0/13/58 and other locks in my guild same build almost same gear and stats. They come out a little higher than me on the dps recount chart. My question is i've looked at what their top 3 damage castings are and they are incinerate, chaos bolt and conflagrate.

Mine are incinerate, conflagrate and immmolate, also their chaos bolt damage is more than mine even if I cast is the same amount of times they do.

My rotation is always curse of doom, immolate, chaos bolt, conflgrate and spam incinerate until the cooldowns are ready and repeate same rotation. so what am I doing wrong?

for example say ive spammed chaos bolt X 30 and my damage is 65,000 and the other locks spammed it the same amount of times their damange is 115,000 so how is this possible? again our stats are almost the same not very much difference at all I thought it may be crit or spellpower but they are close to mine.

Is there a secret I dont know?^_o-

Dps Confusion

I have been over this over and over. No matter what i do i cant seem to do over 3k dps ive jemmed to get my haste up there do i need more sp gems, and do you need more haste or sp when it comes to gems. i cant seem to get my dps up any higher plz help
