Levelling cooking

At some point I want to level cooking for sporeling snacks and buzzard bites. But between 300 and where I am now I can't find any recipes. Infact the highest I have is tender wolf steak at 245.

How can I level cooking? Not just cheaply. At all.

Re: Levelling cooking

If you fish then this will go a lot faster.

At 250 you can make nightfin soup that can take you to 290 if you want.
At 275 you can make baked salmon and that will take you all the way to 315 or higher if you don't mind wasting a lot of fish . Thottbot has a great list of cooking items and at what level you can make them http://www.thottbot.com/?t=Cooking

Plus on the list there are a lot better items than the buzzard bites.

Re: Levelling cooking

I think fishing is the only option you might have actually. If you find it too tedius, try to scan the AH for fish (though check exact names, as it is not always *fish*), many fishers sell their *trash* fish, and you could level from those.

One of the non fish recipies, that went very high is the Silithus dropped meat from the wurms.

Tender Wolf Steak is all you need to get to 300...it becomes a green recipe at some point but that's what I used to grind to 300. And Hinterlands has all the wolves you'll ever need. If you're looking for something above TWS then Runn Tum Tuber Surprise from DM East (the named imp drops the recipe) or Smoked Desert Dumplings from the Silithus inkeeper quest that takes Sandworm Meat. If you're looking for something below TWS then Spider Sausage that takes White Spider Meat.
