Fast cash making
Woohoo,my #1 post... Well,i have tailoring/enchanting,and only 320g on level 50,and i feel so powerless...i want more...if you can give me a good idea to make cash, coz i cant find white bandit mask(i've payed a 70 to grind it,but its a world drop)... i also was in big minus when a stupid mage asked me for a lot of silk,so i brought 22 stacks...you guess what ,hi didnt buy,and he kicked me out of ulda group...and,drasticly,the price of silk has instantly fallen.... now,i have loads of silk, grind mageweave like crazy, and have quite a lot,so i need some help...thx anyway |

Re: Fast cash making
Take the silk you bought, create greens and disenchant the items and either sell the shards/dust or use it level up your enchanting Coldone. There is profit to be made or craft level to gain. ! Lemons = Lemonade :D |

Once you get to Outland (only 8 more levels) you will be swimming in gold like Scrooge McDuck. I wouldn't worry about gear/gold until you start the expansion content.

Re: Fast cash making
hah, i bought the white bandit mask today....but before getting a bunch of mageweave, failed to look and see that a stack of vision dust on my server sells for about 4g. and the mageweave would have sold for about 5....so now im trying to see how much of a market there is for bags. I got a pattern for a 20 slot soul pouch, havent seen anything like it on the ah, so im going to see if anyone will buy it. |

Re: Fast cash making
I don't think 320g at level 50 is all that bad. I doubt I had much more than that. I'm 60 now and have learned to stop worrying about money. Yes, I get 2+g off most quests, as well as some very nice quest rewards, and most gray drops sell to vendor for more than a gold each now, btu when I really need money I just go fishing off the coast of Stranglethorn. One hour there will usually bring me 20-30g. I'm getting to the point where I'm spending about that much every 2 levels on my spells. Other than that I just have to start worrying about the big expenses of mounts. I have enough for my dreadsteed since a guildmate will be helping me through it. I play the AH a lot too. Look for high level items that are priced below 2g then DE them for mats. Sell high 200 and low 300 enchants for a couple gold profit each time. Fiery weapon is a big seller. I also recently aquired Unholy and Crusader. Again, good sellers. Target the twinks with all of those. Bags will always sell well, just make sure you don't flood the market. If you make 10 bags just sell a few at a time. And I usually avoid the AH on weekends. I get undercut on everything yet also have a hard time finding deals on anything I want to buy. Odd that I lose either way. One item that you will be able to get and resell soon for a decent profit is the runecloth bag pattern available in Everlook. I think it costs 1-2g and I can sell it on the AH for 9g or more every time. I have yet to have one of those auctions expire. Good luck. But really, it's not something you need to worry much about at your level. As long as you have gold every 2 levels to learn your spells and a few hundred at 60 if you want your dreadsteed (more if you get one of the other epics) you'll be fine. |
