Engineer Bicycle Mount

Although I am not an engineer with my warlock, several of my alts are. I am putting this out there to get exposure for this petition. I feel strongly about it and I guess I am going to see who else out there thinks this is a good idea. So, here we go;

It sounds something like an item they would give out in the trading cards, not really an item you would find in game. I think they try to keep as medieval as they can... and bicycles would look very... non Blizzardish unless they had something new about them.

Something like large gnomish wheels that look nothing like a conventional bicycle.

... really I don't see them liking the idea for something you can just learn from a trainer... but I do think it would be an excelent idea for the trading card game ^^

How about a rikshaw? I would love to take my buddies for a ride...

Or may be a big mechanical crossbreed between the gnome mount and a Blood Elf... but with 3 legs...

Or even better get a mechanical tauren on all 4 as a mount won't that be nice?

Meh, I'd rather have something like a tank. I feel that would make more sense with engineering too..

I think that its a bad idea. If you give engineering another mount, I think every new character and his neighbor will become an engineer.

IMHO engineering is ok as it is really.

You would still have to buy the skill obviously...unless you're a warlock...*cough* *cough*

Maybe it could be one of those old fashion bikes? You know, with the giant front wheel and such.

As much as a penny farthing* would rock, I think any mount would need to be able to handle rough terrain and step rocky slopes. Wheels won't cut it, IMO.

You might get away with tank treads...

I'd suggest looking at the gnome racial mount and working out how to expand on that idea. Pick another animal, make a robotic version, and bam - new engineering mount.

Just remember there's a 20% chance of the mount blowing up 30 seconds after you summon it.

* That's the vintage bicycle with the huge front wheel and tiny rear wheel.
