Ideal professions for a PvP focussed Lock
Ok, I've been really focused on levelling recently, and upon nearing 70, have begun to think quite in-depth about what the best professions would be for me. I'm planning on being a 2v2 arena specced, so SL/SL.
Any thoughts? Stew |

Re: Ideal professions for a PvP focussed Lock
depends on you're goal. If you want to make alot of gold i would go for mining and herbelism. This are 2 gathering proffesions that will give you ton's of money, but than you need to go mining and herb.. For pvp you don't really need much, just do arena and battlegrounds and all items can be bought with honor / points instead of gold.

Re: Ideal professions for a PvP focussed Lock
I see, that's a very valid point, but there are some aspects of the game which require you to do some minimal farming. Such as epic mount money etc. That's the main motivation behind my wanting to get some tradeskills flowing. In some circumstances, there are certain profession made items that can make or break a PvP encounter. Such as some of the engineering items.

Herbalism/Alchemy for great buffs ;)
Mining/Engineering can be good also, grenades can be great weapons, helmet with enhanced furtive detection etc. |
