Engineering to Tailoring?
I am 260 engineering, and im finding that its realy getting expensive to level and im second guessing how much I want the mount and goggles. Is it worth it to just drop it and pick up tailoring or is there something else that makes Engineering worth it? Thanks

Re: Engineering to Tailoring?
Mote extractor makes engineering worth it. It's my sole biggest source of income (already bought an epic flyer for an alt with it lol)

Re: Engineering to Tailoring?
The Mote Extractor is ridiculous :D
I was farming Primal Shadow for an alt and simply running round Oshu'gorun in the time it took to farm 10 Shadows, I had 4 Air without deviating from my path significantly. That said, aside from potential money making (debateable tbh) and the Destruction Holo-gogs, Tailoring is a better profession ^^ |

Re: Engineering to Tailoring?
If you do it right, you can make quite a bit off the mote extractor. Just know which Primal is "hot" one weekend and throw them up, unless it's fire or earth or life. >.<
Also, I can't remember the skill level required to make it, but try killing the analyzers in Blade's Edge for the repair bot pattern. Pretty cheap to level up on and they can potentially sell decently, too...sometimes. Dunno what your second profession is. Personally I'm a Tailor/Engineer. There's money to be somewhere in them. ![]() |
