Mote Extractor - no more yellow dots?

I remember that not too long ago when the air-clouds were introduced to Nagrand i used my Engineering-Mote-extractor on them to farm some primal air. It was easy as i saw yellow dots on the map, just like a miner sees mines.

But now i tried to do that again and found that i no longer see yellow dots on the map for them. I looked into the "Tracking" on the interface and cant see any engineering which i could toggle on. Is this removed or is there a trick to it?

Might be that you have changed your headgear?

As far as I know it is an equip feature of the goggles.

Aye, you only get the Purest Yellow Dots of Win WHILE you're wearing them :D

Great way to kill time between 2v2 matches (or anything with a 5-15 min queue time) is to queue up in Nagrand Arena, and fly around to farm motes of Air. I get 2-3 Primal Airs for every 10 2v2 matches. If you get bored of that, you can also go bomb Halaa

It says right on the goggles that that is what they do.

"Shows the location of all nearby gas clouds on the minimap"
