Looking to replace herbalism...
When I first started my lock, I figured herbalism/alchemy was the way to go...
Then upon reaching Outland, I discovered tha for a Warlock to be really deadly quick, I would need to become a tailor. So I dumped my 368 alchemy and spent around 1000+ g leveling my tailoring to 375. I kept my herbs during this time for the money. It has always been a good money-maker. Now that I have bought and paid for just about any bit of equipment I could buy at 70, I would like to eke a little more damage/cool stuff out of the profession area. I am going to drop the herbs, and I am trying to determine whether to go either enchanting or engineering. I know that both of them will cost me g, but the what the heck? I really have nothing else to spend my money on now... With my present gear and addons I can farm around 150 to 200 g an hour, and with a random epic/rare pattern/item/formula I can make much more money by kill-farming... So the question is, what do you think would give me the most damage bump/fun profession-wise? My profile is: http://www.wowarmory.com/character-s...ane&n=Eviltwin |

Re: Looking to replace herbalism...
If it was me, I wouldn't switch out. Keep making money and save. You never know what is around the corner that may be cool to spend your money on. Remember that Wrath of the Lich King will be on its way and the gear/rep/pattern/whatever grind will start all over again.
Just my 2cents. |

Yeah, there's not much more you can get from other professions if you're geared up and have tailoring.
Enchanting - 24(?) spell damage on your rings Engineering - T5 quality head piece, transporters, gyrocopter Jewelcrafting - Epic BoP gems, $$ potential |
