Which specialization?
As of right now, it appears the transmutation specialization is bugged. There is supposed to be an approximately 15% chance to make more transmutes for the same materials. It is being reported at around 5%. This seems to be only for transmuting air to fire, etc and not for the primal might transmute.
Here are my questions: -Is transmutation specialty still profitable or should I go with another transmutation specialty (elixirs or potions)? -What are the benefits of having any of the specializations? -I'm a complete noob when it comes to potions (I have 358 alchemy and rarely use anything but health potions because I sell them rather than use them) so any advice would be greatly appreciated. |

Re: Which specialization?
It all depends on how much of each you regularly craft/sell. On my Realm, raw mats are equal to or slightly more expensive than the finished potions/elixirs (due to, imo, people wanting to craft their own pots for specialty procs and discoveries). On my Alchy, I choose xmute, since my main is a JC and needs the diamonds.
Go with whatever you craft the most. Last edited by Gritz; March 03, 2008 at 10:53 AM. Reason: raw mats = potions/elixirs |
