dropping tailoring?! what?!?!

ok, later on in the game, the FSW wont be as good as the malefic armor set right? it wont be as good as the other robes and other stuff that will be coming out.... should i drop that profession and pick up skinning and partner it up with my mining?

just a question...

I'd hang on to it if I were you - i am sure that Wrath of the Lich King will have some sexy tailoring gear...

same here, i am going to see what Wrath of the Lich King is gonna bring, and decide then.
Also, i was thinking ( before i heard of Wrath of the Lich King ) to keep tailoring FSW set till i get better gear ( t5/6) and get engineering after that.
Now i am unshure of course.

As a pretty much strictly PVP lock now, Ive thought about the same thing.. dropping tailoring for a more money making profession. Im miner already. I know Ill need to level to 80, but I can do that just fine in my pvp gear...even instances if I want. I do have a pve set (with spec, 1200 SD, 150 hit, 20% crit)... but since Im not raiding anymore, I can resocket to get higher crit (which I think I'll do anyway). Though, I think im gonna wait, just to see if a new bag comes out that everyone will want...

So, it looks like the pattern is not BoP, so it might be coming across the AH on a rare occasion. Considering that the robe IS BoP and the mats don't look too terrible hard to get, what would be the going price for this recipe pattern??? I only ask because my guild is much too far away from progressing to Sunwell anytime soon.

I would bet the first few of them that hit the AH on any given server will pull down 5000 or so, probably more on a very high pop server.
